This Charter of Values was developed within the European project INTEGRALITY – Multi-stakeholder strategies for the promotion of INTEGRation and LegALITY of migrants’ employment in agriculture, promoted by FELCOS Umbria as lead partner together with 11 partners in 5 European countries (Italy, Greece, Cyprus, Portugal and Austria), and funded by the AMIF – Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund.
The Charter is jointly promoted by the project partners as an awareness-raising action and as a commitment to prevent and combat labour exploitation in agriculture, by strengthening stable networks among the various local stakeholders and supporting the development of multi-stakeholder strategies for full and positive integration at local level, in compliance with legality and workers’ rights.
It is addressed to all the actors that make up the reference community — local authorities, companies and stakeholders along the agricultural supply chain, employers’ and trade associations, trade unions, civil society organisations, reception and integration services, migrant communities and other public agencies — who are called upon to share common values and undertake concrete commitments.
The Charter sets out the values and principles of the project which together constitute an ethical brand, represented by a graphic logo as a tool to recognise and promote virtuous practices along the agricultural supply chain.
